Products
EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY is the exclusive distributor of leading UV, UV-LED and EB systems in selected areas within Europe. Beside the products we distributes, we are also the manufacturer of UV systems filling in the missing areas to complete our product range within UV, UV-LED and EB.
uv curing
UV curing has been shown to increase production speed, reduce reject rates, improve scratch and solvent resistance, and facilitate superior bonding. UV curing is a photochemical process, in which ultraviolet light is used to instantly cure or “dry” inks, coatings or adhesives. Liquid monomers and oligomers are mixed with photo initiators and when exposed to the UV energy, it instantaneously hardens. UV curing are used within most industries where gluing, coating or surface modification is needed, e.g. graphic arts industry, automotive industry, telecommunications, electronics, converting, metal, glass, plastic decorating and for other industrial applications.
uv-led curing
The UV-LED technology is a robust and, above all, efficient technology of the future to cure inks, coatings, silicones and adhesives with UV light, which offer great potential for the printing and coating industry. UV-LEDs can be switched on and off instantly in line with operation cycles, so energy is consumed only when necessary. This makes the advantage of the LED technology clear: the service life of the LEDs is equal to the actual usage time. This makes UV-LED light sources substantially more efficient and economical in cycled operation.
process control
It is essential to monitor the UV process control when curing with UV. EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY supplies the complete product line of UV radiometers and On-Line UV monitors manufactured by EIT.
The instruments are robust and user-friendly and are widely used in production as well as in the laboratory for process control (ISO9000), definition of process parameters, process optimization and cost reduction.
EFSEN has a wide experience of measuring UV and the practical aspects of the use of EIT’s instruments. Hence we can assist you in analyzing the data taken with your instrument or discuss how you create the optimum.
electron beam (eb)
EFSEN has been working with EB since 1986. EB is a unique technology, which often is the hidden secret behind the performance and characteristics of many products we are surrounded by in everyday life. EB technology comprises energy levels from 70keV to 10MeV. EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY is working in the low energy range (80-300kV) referred to as low energy EB.
