About EFSEN

Since 1986 EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY has been producing industrial systems for curing ink, lacquers and coatings using UV light.

With the idea of marketing electron beam curing (EB) in the Nordic countries, Karin Efsen started in 1986 Efsen Engineering A/S. We now name ourselves as EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY, as our focus is on radiation technology in the fields of UltraViolet (UV) curing using UV light and Electron Beam (EB) curing using accelerated electrons. We remove uncertainty and instability in the UV curing process by providing and developing UV equipment that is self-regulating in order to perform constant and measurable processes for the manufacture of end-user products using UV in their production. 

Based in Holte (Denmark), we cover both Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, Europe and the rest of the world with our diverse product portfolio, which benefits industries in electronics, optical fiber, medical, automotive, graphic arts/print, and wood and furniture industries and the packaging industry.

LOOK TO THE FUTURE

With a vision of delivering safer and better end-user products for you, we help to set the agenda for future technology standards within the radiation technology UV. Our ICAD® technology is one of the recent most important developments for the UV industry, which for the first time allows for continuous monitoring of entire UV output during production. We are proud that we give our customers a higher level of process safety than the general UV market. ICAD® is an integrated part of our W-LED for wood and furniture and P-LED for graphics, printing and converting.
