Designed for curing UV ink-jet printing for cable and pipe marking with Excelitas Noblelight
EFSEN UV & EB TECHNOLOGY has developed a successful solution for high speed UV curing of ink-jet printing on pipe and cable, which is done to obtain more scratch-resistant and durable markings in harsh environments at high-speeds. A high-power Excelitas Noblelight UV lamp (240 W/cm) is placed in a light shield irradiating the cable/pipe from above and with the UV bulb axis in the same direction as the cable/pipe is moving.
This ensures curing at maximum speed. With the high-intense Excelitas (Fusion) UV System this is the optimum solution for high-speed curing with constant quality in across a wide range of diameters.
Advantages of the Cable Marking system
- The light shield is height adjustable to secure optimum curing for different diameters of cable or pipe.
- Height adjustment is manual or automatic.
- The inlet and outlet openings have adjustable louvre plates to absorb the light and prevent external irradiance.
- The unit opens for easy threading and positioning.
- The unit can be built with more Excelitas Noblelight lamps to accommodate higher speeds.
